4. Functionele cookies

Functionele cookies verbeteren jouw gebruikerservaring.

• Toestemming intrekken: zie punt 8.

• Jouw cookievoorkeur (cookie_consent): ‘alles’ of ‘minimaal’

8. Cookies beheren of verwijderen

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. They help us make the website work properly and improve your experience.

Ping2Dine uses a minimal number of cookies. We have no advertising network, we do not sell data and we do not use cookies for advertising or marketing. Only if you click ‘Accept all’ do we also use analytical cookies from Google Analytics (see section 5).

2. Which cookies do we use?

3. Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies are required for the basic functions of the website. Without these cookies the dashboard for restaurant owners does not work. No consent is required for necessary cookies under the GDPR/ePrivacy Directive.

4. Functional cookies

Functional cookies improve your user experience. We use your IP address solely to automatically show restaurants in your region. This IP address is not stored by us and not shared with third parties.

5. Analytical cookies (Google Analytics)

Since 22 October 2026 we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our website is used. This happens only if you click ‘Accept all’ in the cookie notice. If you choose ‘Necessary only’, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytical cookies are placed.

• What we measure: which pages are visited, how far people scroll, which outbound links are clicked, the type of device and the country. We do not measure names or login details.
• IP address: we have switched on IP anonymisation in Google Analytics.
• Redacted data: email addresses and the address parts ucp_checkout_id, ucp_cart_id, token and tafel are removed from the measured data (configured in our Google Analytics account).
• Retention period: 14 months (configured in our Google Analytics account).
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_PWG65PP6L6, both for up to 2 years.
• Who processes the data: Google Ireland Limited, as a processor on our behalf. More information can be found in Google's privacy policy.
• Withdrawing consent: see section 8. With the button there you delete your choice and the cookies _ga and _ga_PWG65PP6L6; at your next visit you can choose again.

6. Third-party cookies

Ping2Dine uses Google Fonts to load fonts. Google may process your IP address in the process. Please consult Google's privacy policy for more information.

Apart from Google Fonts and, with your consent, Google Analytics (section 5), we use no Facebook Pixel, no advertising cookies and no other tracking services.

7. LocalStorage

In addition to cookies, Ping2Dine uses localStorage in your browser. This is similar to cookies but is not automatically sent to the server. We store the following in it:

• Your login token (ping2dine_token) for the restaurant dashboard
• Your cookie preference (cookie_consent): ‘all’ or ‘minimal’

This data remains locally on your device until you delete it yourself or log out.

8. Managing or deleting cookies

You can manage cookies and localStorage in the following ways:

• Through your browser settings (deleting or blocking cookies)
• Through your browser's developer tools (F12 → Application → LocalStorage)
• Logging out of the restaurant dashboard removes login tokens
• With the button below: your cookie consent and the Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_PWG65PP6L6) are deleted. At your next visit the cookie notice appears again and you can choose again.

Please note: blocking necessary cookies may cause the dashboard to stop working.

9. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights:

• Right of access to your data
• Right to rectification (correction) of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to object to processing
• Right to data portability
